Pair of Gilt-Bronze Wall Sconces — Maison Leleu

A pair of cast gilt-bronze twin-light wall sconces, each formed of opposed C-scrolls united by an interlaced figure-of-eight cresting, raised on a circular backplate, with oval pleated silk shades. Stamped "LELEU PARIS / MADE IN FRANCE" and bearing the painted inventory number P.21315 to the reverse, with foundry assembly marks to the components — maker confirmed, fully marked. Paris, circa 1940–1950. Professionally rewired to UK specification, PAT-passed April 2018. 32 cm high × 24 cm wide × 15 cm deep, including shade (12½ × 9½ × 6 in). Sold as a pair.
