Pair of Glass and Brass Wall Lights in the Manner of Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors

A pair of wall lights in clear moulded glass and brass, in the manner of Carl Fagerlund's designs for Orrefors. Each shade is a single curved section of heavy glass with a pleated, zig-zag profile, its surface moulded overall with a fine grid of pyramidal facets that breaks up and scatters the light. The shades are held on brass pins above a half-round brass shroud that conceals the lampholder, on a rectangular brass backplate. Unmarked. Swedish or Scandinavian, mid-20th century.
