£1,900.00
A French desk lamp, attributed to Jacques Adnet (1900–1984), circa 1950. The double-cone ‘diabolo’ shade is in black-leather clad metal, carried on a curved brass swan-neck arm rising from a kidney-form base wrapped in black hide with the characteristic saddle-stitched white seaming associated with Adnet’s workshop. A compact, sculptural piece of mid-century French design. Approximately H 42 × W 30 × D 19 cm.
