A good rare pair of painted Birch & laminated plywood Alvo Aalto hall chairs model 51/403 Designed for the Paimio Sanatorium, Finland, in 1932

The paint is not original but it is old paint, please see the photos and the condition description.

The chairs can stack one on top of the other.

Condition	Good. The chairs are sturdy and have been repainted some time ago there is a little light worm evidence in a few of the legs and the back feet are a little bit nibbled from old worm/damp.
