Born in Milan in 1950, Barnaba Fornasetti is the son of Piero Fornasetti, founder of the Fornasetti design brand Made in Italy – one of the leading companies in Italian design – famous worldwide for its unique style.
It was in 1988, after the death of his father, that Barnaba took over the reins of the company. Since then, he has faithfully perpetuated his father’s legacy, with the same pioneering spirit and passion, and revives the incredible visual language by creating what he himself likes to call “reinventions”, that is, objects designed from scratch, mainly on themes from the rich historical archives.
