Small Mithé Espelt circular ceramic pocket mirror decorated in shades of blue green, white, rose pink and gold. Surmounted by a pair of birds in relief, with a short brass chain with a rose pink bead attached to the base.
Mithé Espelt was a French ceramic artist based in the Camargue, at the gates of Provence. Her early pieces were signed but at the beginning of the 1950s, she stopped signing her work and devoted herself to the creation of small everyday objects for women: mirrors, jewellery chests and trays…
