Jean Perzel (May 2, 1892 – October 26, 1986) was a German born master glassmaker and a pioneer of lighting and lighting in France from the 1920s.
Celebrating modernity and innovation, he worked with the major names in Art Deco and modernist architecture : Robert Mallet-Stevens , Michel Roux-Spitz , Le Corbusier , Jacques-Émile Ruhlmann , Djo-Bourgeois … but also for monuments such as the Palace of the League of Nations in Geneva, the Cathedral of Notre-Dame in Luxembourg and the Paquebot Normandie .
